"Tron" fans across the world, avid or casual, are probably still busy changing their pants from the recent news.
Recently, auction syndicate, RM Sotheby's, announced that on May 2nd, it will be auctioning off the "fully functional, electric version of the Tron: Legacy motorcycle." Or, as only allegiant fans know it as, the "light cycle."
The sleek, futuristic bike runs on a 96-volt, "direct-drive" electric motor, powered by lithium batteries, with a computer controlled throttle, front and rear hydraulic breaks, and rebound and compression damping, among other features.
Yeah...I'd be okay with being seen on that.
The bike is perfectly true to the one seen in the movie, down to every aesthetical groove
The seat is an insanely low 28.5 inches, making it easy to ride at idling speeds
It's contours, sleek and tight, would make any man drool
And here's the kicker: RM Sotheby’s estimates the lot value to be between $25,000 – $40,000
