The colorful, newly discovered Peacock Spider, native to Queensland, Australia and officially nicknamed "Sparklemuffin" (which I'm assuming is it's dancing alias), has some serious spunk.
The adorable little arachnids leverage their flamboyant appearance primarily for their mating dance, which consists of them raising their vibrant abdomens directly in the air, and waving their hind legs around like they just don't care.
In the case of this spectacular footage captured by photographer, Jurgen Otto, and edited by sound designer Dario Trovato, Sparklemuffin doesn't care about the honeys though. He just wants to dance.
With an abdomen made for showmanship, the spider loves waving its hind legs around - mostly for the purposes of mating and warding of enemies.
But in this instance, it's for dancing purposes.
