It also doesn't look like it's all that hard to do. It's definitely not big enough to live in, but it sure beats a boring old shed in the back yard for your gardening tools.
It starts out with these giant cement pipes that I'm sure you've seen before.
Dig out the ground and place the pipes just right.
To be sure nothing would be ruined once it got buried, the pipes were covered in a waterproofing material.
The back wall of the Hobbit hole got some reinforcement with cinder blocks.
The floor was created using crushed rocks.
Seven tons of stone, to be exact.
The outer walls were built up with stones to give it a real Hobbit feel.
A reinforced door was added...
And after a month, the best cellar ever is complete.
