These Researchers Are Studying the Effects of One of the World's Most Misunderstood Drugs

Studying the effects of LSD on the brain is a research project that has been banned for 50 years. After all this time, UK-based non-profit The Beckley Foundation is able to complete this research thanks to crowdfunding. The study uses two types of brain imaging on test subjects that have been given LSD through an IV, in an effort to explore the nature of human consciousness and the effect psychedelics can have on it.
