Stone Balancing Is Extrememly Difficult, But This Man's Art Makes It Look So Simple!
Michael Grab is a skilled man with an eye for the naturally beautiful. And while his art and photography have garnered him much praise, that's not what he's most known for. And it's certainly not what he'd consider himself most gifted at.
In 2008, on a trip to Boulder Creek, Colorado, he stumbled upon an activity that has since firmly solidified itself as his life passion, and it's one of the most unorthodox hobbies you'll ever hear of. The art is called "stone balancing" - or as he calls his work, Gravity Glue - and it's as outrageously difficult as it looks. Actually, it looks visually impossible. But that's exactly what Grab loves most about his work. It inspires a feeling of astonished awe, of peace - and with it, a sense that anything is possible.
