If you don't think art and mathematics go together, you clearly haven't met John Edmark.
John Edmark's art is based on mathematical precision. He's created everything from 3D zoetropes to kinetic sculptures that create optical illusions.
Edmark himself has remarked on his intent for his work to play with the ideas of "fact and perception," and when you see his art work, it makes sense.
Edmark is now a lecturer at Stanford University in the design program.
His works are totally fascinating, and we imagine his lectures would be, too!
