After Vince Gilligan created Breaking Bad, everyone knew how talented he was. So of course hopes were high when 'Better Call Saul' recently premiered. And of course there were some pretty sneaky things thrown into these first few episodes that continue to prove the excellence of Vince Gilligan and his creative mind. Take a look at some of the easter eggs thrown into this new show.
1. The street James McGill lives on in Better Call Saul is the same street Gale lived on in Breaking Bad.
Hmmmmm. Very interesting.
James (Jimmy) McGill was seen driving an older Suzuki Esteem in Better Call Saul, and later parks it next too a Cadillac DeVille.
But what is the meaning of this?
Saul ends up driving a white cadillac DeVille throughout Breaking Bad.
He traded up apparently.
OH YEAH and there was casually this Heisenberg reference in the background.
Of course there was.
Remember that time in Breaking Bad when Saul told Walter White he should launder his money through a beauty salon?
Well now that reasoning kind of makes sense...
Because it just so happens to be a beauty salon where Jimmy McGill has his temporary office set up.
Again...OF COURSE.
A reddit user noticed that the same key fob was used in the last episode of Breaking Bad and in the first episode of Better Call Saul.
And the number in this book of matches...If you call it you'll get Nacho's voicemail.
And finally maybe the most interesting thing of all. In the last season of Breaking Bad, Saul predicted what his future might look like.
Which turns out to be exactly correct.
Working at a Cinnabon in Omaha.
So now that we have an idea of where his story might end, it's exciting to see how it all unfolded to this point.
