This Architect Just Made An Old School Bus Into The Coolest Mobile Home You've Ever Seen
For his capstone project, graduate architect student, Hank Butitta, decided to think outside the box...well outside.
It began with an idea, of course. First, Hank concluded that he wanted his project to be mobile. So what did he do? He bought a bus - an oldschool, retro one for $3,000 to be precise. He knew he needed to spend a little bit of money if he was going to make the most of his project, so he dropped another $6,000 on renovations, which ended up involving dimmable LED lighting, and recycled gymnasium flooring, among other awesome features.
After completing the bus, Hank decided to travel across the country in it with his friends, chronicling their journey on its website, hankboughtabus.com. Their escapades are enviable to say the least. What began as an idea, resulted in the experience of a lifetime.
