When Alfred Ajani graduated from Coventry University in England with a degree in marketing, he was faced with the same issue so many college graduates face: How on Earth do I make myself stand out from other recent grads and get myself a job?
So Ajani decided to make his presence known in a place he knew he'd stand out.
His plan took place at the extremely busy Waterloo train station.
Ajani held a sign with his qualifications on it and talked to anyone whose attention he caught with these qualifications!
And the incredibly unique move WORKED! Ajani landed a job at The Astoria Group. And notice the shirts everyone in this photo is wearing?
They made them to welcome him on his first day!
A year later, Ajani has returned to the train station, but this year his sign reads something a little different:
Alfred's story is a fantastic example of being able to achieve fantastic things, if you're just willing to think a little bit outside the box!
