The blizzard of 1888 hit New York much harder than #Snowmageddon was ever going to. These photos show the damage of one of the worst blizzards to hit the area. From March 11-14, 1888, New York was buried under up to 5 feet of snow in some area. There were approximately 400 recorded deaths.
