In this video, we learn about where McDonald's fries come from.
They reverse engineer the process of making fries to better inform the American public.
The potatoes are frozen at the end of the entire process.
(There is a 50 yard freezer tunnel that hold the fries.)
Before being frozen, they are partially fried.
This is for that perfect crispy taste we all love so much.
Before that, they are dipped in an ingredient to keep the color of the fries golden.
And before the coloring, the whole potatoes get shot through this potato cutter.
And then of course, we find out that this is where the potatoes come from.
While it seems McDonald's fries are made with real potatoes...here are the rest of the ingredients.
That's kind of a lot of extra stuff? YEP.
