We've all heard of the famous mythological creatures, "Bigfoot" and "The Loch Ness Monster" (unless you live under a rock, like Bigfoot). Cryptozoology is something we haven't heard much of, but it's actually the study of creatures such as these, which literally translates, "the study of hidden animals." And whether you're a skeptic or a myth-lover, there are a lot more of these "hidden animals" than you thought there were.
The people at "Hog Island Press" want to change that. After some serious research, they constructed a map that displays all the homes of the most renowned hidden animals, or "cryptids," in the U.S. And yes, they're based on real sightings. Think Bigfoot and The Loch Ness Monster were it? Think again.
