Dutch fashion designer Anouk Wipprecht created a dress that could stop traffic.
The eerie, tech-based "spider dress" is designed to attack anyone who gets too close to the model wearing it. It has two forward-facing proximity sensors that detect an oncoming presence. The arms can then make a combination of movements at different speeds.
Every piece of conceptual design is 3-D printed using Selective Lace Sintering (SLS) technology.
Wipprecht described the design process as "hell," but clearly her hard work paid off. Her amazing creation is a part of a new frontier in innovative fashion.
