1. Meat

A Kentucky woman was in her yard one day in 1876 when flecks of meat began falling to the ground. A couple of brave men who tried to meat said they thought it tasted like mutton or venison. It's believed that the "Kentucky Meat Shower" was a result of nauseated vultures flying overhead.

2. A Cow

When you're driving down the street, the last thing you expect to see is a cow in the middle of the road (unless you live in Iowa). For this couple who were driving their minivan in 2007 in Washington, a cow in the road would have been welcome compared to the cow that fell from the sky onto the hood of their car. The cow had apparently fallen 200 feet from an above cliff after escaping a farm.

3. A Puppy

When a puppy fell into the yard of a young boy's grandmother in 2012, the boy took the puppy in, taking his grandmothers advice; "When God drops a puppy from the sky, you keep it.â€ The puppy was probably scooped up by a hawk before wriggling free and falling from the sky.

4. Rubles

Once in 1940, a trove of 16th-century coins fell from the sky in central Russia. It's believed the coins were part of a buried trove that was exposed when the soil eroded and were then picked up by a tornado.

5. Drunk Birds

About 40 birds fell from the sky in Vienna in 2006, people were worried they fell victim to the avian flu. Vets later determined the birds had eaten fermented berries, rendering them drunk and sending them crashing down from the sky.
