Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson are making one of the most intimidating journey's ever.
They're climbing El Capitan, a 3.000 foot granite cliff face at Yosemite National Park.
This is considered to be one of the most dangerous excursions in the world.
In some places, they have nothing more than a few inches of rock to use at hand and foot holds.
They're documenting their venture on Facebook and Twitter.
Caldwell and Jorgeson are the first people to ever face El Capitan by free-climbing.
Their hands and feet have taken a beating from the climb. They often have to tape them up so they'll heal faster.
Both Caldwell and Jorgeson prefer to climb at dusk, so they still have some light, but their hands aren't sweating as they climb.
They're using ropes to keep them from falling, but not as climbing aids.
They have a support team nearby that brings them food and helps to solar power any devices they're using.
They'll be climbing for about 20 days and are about 10 days in so far.
Be sure to follow them both to see how they fare during this historic climb.
