Things are starting to change all around the U.S. Here are a few new laws you may need to know during 2015.
1. Old computers, television and video game consoles must be recycled in New York.
2. The number of untested rape kits much be disclosed by law enforcement agencies in Louisiana.
The number will become public information on January 1, 2015.
3. Distributing "revenge porn" in California is now illegal.
4. Students in Nevada who skip school too often can be denied a driver's license.
5. The sale of large quantities of cold medicine is being regulated in Michigan to control meth production.
6. Teens in Louisiana can now register to vote.
They can register at age 16 and 17, but can't cast a ballot until age 18.
7. Leaf Blowers that use gasoline are banned in California due to the high amount of pollution they cause.
8. Cities in Utah can no longer ban certain dog breeds.
9. As of February, it's illegal to take photos with lions, tigers and other big cats.
