I would never have the patience or determination to create  such meticulous art, but I’m glad that this artist does.

 

Artist Hina Aoyama from Yokohama, Japan and currently of Ferney-Voltaire, France begin exploring “ultra-fine lacy paper cuttings” in 2000. Using only a pair of scissors, Aoyama is able to create the most detailed designs out of delicate pieces of paper. Her incredible eye and steady hands have gained her tons of recognition and awards throughout the world.
