A team of German students have put their creative design skills to the test and they've created an amazing device for crosswalks that will make waiting for the light to change all the more worth it.
So, what is it? It's a crosswalk button that allows you to play an entertaining game with someone across the street that's also waiting on the light to change.
Amelie Künzler and Sandro Engel, two interactive design students at HAWK University, had their device installed in Hildesheim, Germany just a few weeks ago. And with the help of a team of tech developers, their device has been a huge hit!
They stated that the idea derived from always having to wait for a traffic light en route to their campus, so they wondered, "How could this be more fun?..."thus the first concept was developed.
