Russian artist Igor Verniy is a master when it comes to working with metal. His breathes new life into old metal parts and ends up with remarkable steampunk designs.

Igor states that it takes a lot of research before he is able to create living creatures out of old junk parts.

First, he must observe the animal in real life, noting it's characteristics and movements.

Then, he searches for scrap metal (clocks, car parts, tableware, watches, etc.) to find the most perfect pieces for his project.

And somehow, he ends up with these marvelously, realistic masterpieces.
