Find out why this illegal street food market in Berlin transforms into a HUGE picnic upon the arrival of authority figures. This just might be the best silent protest that ever existed.
During a recent trip to Berlin, Ryan Kailath found himself in search of spicy food, specifically Asian. He asked around, scouring the city for that spicy kick but nothing sufficed....until he learned of "Thai Park," an illegal street food market...that is, until cops come around.

Thai Park is where the people of Berlin can secretly go to get their fill of authentic Asian dishes.
Here you can find food that isn't sold in the city.
Why? Because it's illegal!
Food? Illegal? Say it isn't so!
Due to city regulations, both customers and merchants have to be on the lookout for cops.
So when they're spotted, people stop noticeable exchanges of money and simply pretend that they're part of a HUGE picnic.
This definitely sounds like a "picnic" I'd love to be a part of.
