Amazon Echo is about give Siri a run for her money.
Echo is a voice-activated assistive device that brings you news, weather updates, music, to-do lists, information and more.
It uses seven different microphone and can hear your commands from across the room. It is also equipped with a speakers that will immerse the room is high-quality sound.
The device's "brain" is in the cloud, running on Amazon Web Services. This is how it stays constantly updated.
It begins working when you use the "wake" word, "Alexa" and it adapts to your speech patterns and preferences.
It's bluetooth enabled and has fast wifi. You can also access it via your computer and phone using Echo's Android and Fire OS apps and iOS and Windows desktop browsers.
Echo will be available to Amazon Prime members for $99 and $199 for non-members.
