Taiwanese photographer, Will Ho discovered this glowing beach while on vacation in The Maldives.
Although it might look like something out of a fantasy film, this glowing shoreline is actually the result of phytoplankton.
Phytoplankton are organisms that are too small to be seen individually with the naked eye.
They contain the same enzyme as fireflies which allows them to glow in the dark.
They glow when stressed by something like crashing waves. They can be seen lining beaches around the world.
