The Glowing Plant Project is a sustainability initiative started by Antony Evans and Dr. Kyle Taylor.

By using the DNA of bacteria and animals that contain the enzyme luciferase (found in fireflies), they are able to make plants glow.

Their goal is to eventually use these plants as a source of light, which will cut down on electricity use in a big way.
