The automobile industry may be in for a huge shock with this car that was recently developed.

The company Local Motors has brought us into the future by developing a 3D-printed car named Strati.

Its body and chassis are both 3D-printed, making it the first vehicle of its kind.

And its more cost- and time-efficient to make compared to normal cars.

It can be printed in 44 hours, is made of plastic, and reinforced with carbon fiber.

The car is said to only cost $18,000 when it hits the market in 2016.

No word on how safe it is though...
