Planet Earth is a crazy, mysterious, beautiful place. But even though we all live here full-time, you'll be shocked at all the things you DIDN'T know about your home planet.
1. On just a plain old average day, Switzerland rises and falls up to 25 centimeters.
2. Endoliths are tiny little creatures that actually live INSIDE of rocks.
Doesn't look too comfortable in there...
3. If two cyclones get extremely close to one another, they'll actually start orbiting the other.
It's known as "dancing," which is kind of amazing.
4. Earth is actually smoother than a billiard ball in a game of pool.
5. Mount Everest actually moves horizontally, not vertically.
