In Western India, a dog fell into an excess amount of hot tar. He was completely encased in the tar and it was beginning to solidify around his body. He was facing almost certain death.
But when passers by saw him, they didn't give up hope.
Warning: Some of these images are shocking.
The dog was found completely unable to move, with various sticks, stones, etc. stuck to his tar-covered body.
People took action quickly. They called a nearby rescue mission to come aid them with the poor animal.
The process took two entire days to safely remove the tar from the dog...
...but it was a total success. The dog walked away happy and healthy!
