It turns out he’s a lot closer to us modern day people than we thought.
John Tyler was the 10th president of the United States and served from 1841-1845.

He usually ranks as one of the worst presidents of all time because he defended slavery and abandoned his party's platform soon after the election.

Definitely sounds like bad news.
But there is one special thing about him...

Somehow, he still has two living grandchildren!

Their names are Lyon Gardiner Tyler, born in 1924, and Harrison Ruffin Tyler, born in 1928.
