The Lipstick Trend That Crashed The Internet

If there’s one thing little girls never grow out of, it’s their great love affair with glitter and all things that sparkle.

When Naomi Campbell made her way down the VMA red carpet a couple of weeks ago, nobody could keep their eyes off her bold and sparkly red lip.

Campbell took to Instagram to credit celebrity makeup artist (and lifelong pal) Pat McGrath for her epic pout. A regrammed post reveled the iconic model was wearing McGrath’s new Lust 004 kit in shade Vermillion Venom. British born McGrath is known for her eccentric and glamorous techniques as seen on Fashion Week runways for designers like Prada and Dolce and Gabbana. She’s also teamed up with beauty retailer Sephora for several specialty launches. Lust 004 by Pat McGrath literally broke the makeup artist’s site, leaving only this message:

The Lust 004 lipstick kit contains 5 pieces: two matte lipsticks, a clear vinyl gloss, a metallic gold pigment, and a microfine glitter.

There’s still no word on when the glitter bombs will be back in stock, but don’t start pouting just yet. According to McGrath, the kits will also be available at select Sephora stores starting on September 8.
