Boston Museum of Fine Art's conservator Pam Hatchfield just dug up something truly incredible.
With a whole lot of hard work and precise digging, she was able to retrieve the United States' OLDEST known time capsule.
The time capsule, believe it or not, dates all the way back to 1795!
It was buried by Paul Revere and Samuel Adams, two extremely influential figures in the Revolutionary War.
The time capsule included coins, a medal, a silver plate that was a commemoration to the new state house when it was built, and of course, the staple of every time capsule—newspapers.
Way to go Pam Hatchfield! What a find!
